The risk of not changing

Have you ever heard people say “Wow there’s a lot of risk in doing that!” but they will do it anyway?

Because even though no one say: “There’s a lot of risk in NOT doing that!”

Emotionally, subconsciously, we understand the biggest risk is not changing.

We just do not articulate it often enough.

I first realized the biggest risk of all is in “staying the same” is during Unleash the Power Within - a Tony Robbins’ event. Tony asked us to vision the future where we would be in 10 years - 20 years if we do not change and stay the same.

I was visualizing an AVERAGE life: Not struggle but also not thriving. Probably start to age a lot. Suffer from different diseases. Suffer from bad family relationship. Loneliness, unsatisfied and fear will be the emotional home.

It was very scary.

No, I want to thrive. I need to change.

There’s a lot of risk in not improving our family relationship.

There’s a lot of risk in not improving our health-span.

There’s a lot of risk in not improving our family financial situation.

I remember several years ago when I was 18 years old in my first year of college.

(It could be me everyday doing this on the street of Saigon)

I visualized myself finishing college, go to work, get married, rent a place in Saigon, trying to make ends meet while raising kids… No, I wanted a different life.

At that time, the action I needed to take was to go abroad to study. That was all I knew back then that would bring the difference I wanted into my life. So I did. I communicated that to everyone I know and took action applying to every single scholarship to fund me to study abroad.

What if I did not change and were living the life I was visualizing?

That’s a heart-broken thought.

What if i did not start my real estate investing journey and still working in a lab?

That’s another soul-crushing vision.

(I did a  post on that transformation)

I want an incredible life with incredible experiences, full of love and expression and connection.

I’m building it right now, every single day.

Because the biggest risk is drifting through life, staying the same even though you know you need to change & you need to take action.
Whenever you’re ready, reach out to me.

I’ll cheer you on, help you move forward and take action on the life you want.
